GALLICHAN'S THIRD ANNUAL SALE.

We draw attention of lovers of the Holstein breed of cattle to the abpve fixture to take place on the Stud Farm at Tiakitahuna on November oth, 1913. Perhaps the greatest feature of interest this year are the cows under semi-official test, and there will be milked at 1 p.m., sharp, before the sale, to show what is being done at "Lakeside." "Holland Queen" (o years old) has given 90.81b5, "Diamond" (imp.) (4 years.) 76.2, "Monona Indi Surprise" (imp.) (4 years) 62.2, "Johanna Beauty Bell Piebe" (imp.) (4 years) 63.1. Besides others a fine yearling bull out of "Holland Queen," by "King Segis Wild Rose Homestead" (imp.), and one out of "Monona Indi Surprise," by "Canary Paul Fobes Oak" (imp.), will be offered, and many other high-bred males and females. Through the sudden illness of Mrß Gallichan, the team for the Manawatu show (including "Holland Queen") may not be shown, so lovers of the black and whites would do well to visit "Lakeside" on the day of the sale, and inspect these fine animals. It is imperative each year now to dispose of 20 to 30 animals, on account of the size of the farm— 100 acres—and the sale will be under the vendor's personal guarantee. Drags leave Messrs Dalgety and Co.'s office, Palmerston North, on dale of sale."" .
