RESTRICTIONS REMOVED. (By Telegraph—Prut Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. After consultation with Dr Valintine, Chief Health Officer, who is now in Auckland, the Hon. R. H. Rhodes, Minister of Public Health, has decided that restrictions on Natives travelling in the Waikato, Thames, Coromandel, Waihi and Bay of Plenty districts are to be lifted entirely, but Natives cannot travel north of Mercer or south of Eroa, without permits. In the rest of the Auckland Health District the restrictions are lifted, but no travelling is to be allowed on trains or steamers without permits. Free travelling to Auckland or Wellington is thus stopped. All Maoris or half-castes can attend school.
