TRANSPORT FEDERATION. SUPPORT IRISH WORKERS. (Received Last .Night, 11.15,0'c10ck.) LONDON, Sept. 24. The Transport Workers' Federation has resolved to co-operate with any authorised body in assisting the Irish transport workers, on the understanding that the principle of collective bargaining is fully recognised. The Parliamentary Committee of the Trades Union Congress has endorsed the resolution.
A large employer in Dublin has appealed to both sides to concede the points at issue in order to ensure a settlement, SIR GEORGE ASKWITH. LEAVES FOR DUBLIN. The Committee of the Trades Union Congress has granted £SOOO for the relief of the Dublin strikers, and is sending a shipload of provisions to Dublin immediately.
