ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS The annual meeting of the Wairarapa Amateur Athletic Club was held 1 in Murray's Hall, "Masterton, last evening, when Mr J. Coradine presided over a satisfactory attendance. The report (as already published) and balance-sheet were adopted. The latter showed a credit balance of £4O 5s 9d. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr A. P. Whatman; president, Mr J, Coradine; vice-presidents, Dr N. H. Prior and Messrs A. D. Gillies, D. K. Logan, D. Caselberg, G. W. Sellar, R. p. R. Beetham, H. H. Beetham, 6. R. S.ykes, M.P., D. Ogilvy, W. B. Chennells, W. S. L. Dickson and'J. Georgeson; hon secretary, Mr A. C. Bowman; hon. treasurer; Mr J. Bradbury; committee, Messrs R. McKenzie, A. C. Williams,. R. Messenger, A. L. Tressider. 0. E. Gaillie, M. B. Iggulden, A\ Rippon/ J. Dunn.
It was decided that the retiring 6 r ec-» retary (Mr W. S. L. Dickson) be voted an honorarium of £7 7s. The opinion was unanimously expressed that Mr Dickson had carried.? out the duties of secretly in a most capable manner, and regret was expressed that he was retiring from the position of secretary. It was decided that the question? of inviting the American athletes ty compete in Masterton be left in tTia hands of the new committee, and the hope was generally expressed that everything possible would be done to secure a visit to Masterton from 4 Iky Americans. It was decided that Messrs S • Kingston and W. L. Dunn be appointed delegates to the Wellington centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association.
