Sopwith machine from Eastchurch to the manoeuvres on Salisbury Plain, a distance of 180 miles, in 120 minutes. LOOPING THE LOOP. (Received Last Night, 10.15 o'clock.) PARIS, Sept. 22. Chanteloup, on a biplane, performed Pegoud's feat with a monoplane, by looping the loop. While Pegoud turns the machine heels over head, Chanteloup turned sideways, and planed head downwards and easily resumed his original position before, alighting.
