REPLY TO LORD SALISBURY. INTERESTING ACCUSATIONS. (Received Last Night, 11.20 o'clock.) LONDON, Sept. 22. The Right Hon. D. Lloyd George, in a letter replying to Lord Salisbury, made the Itelfowing accusations: Firstly, that the late Lord Salisbury had endeavoured, through his agents, to secure advantages in connection with the Board of Works' purchase of property for improvements between Charing Cross and Tottenham Courtroad ; secondly, that another Cecil, while high in office, had a flutter in Whittaker Wright's "fraudulent concern; and thifuly, that a relative of the Salisburys in the Salisbury administration, was a director and shareholder in an important company when the Government was negotiating and putting through a huge contract with that company.
