A DOCTOR'S HOPE

At the British Association meeting, Dr- Fouraier Dalde exhibited a reading typophone, which enables the totally blind to read'ordinary type by sound, provided it is of large size and printed on gelatine or other transparent' material. He hopes soon to enable the blind to read all letterpress printed in black on ordinary paper.
