NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. The Bev. D. C. Bates wired on Saturday last:— The indications are for variable and moderate breezes, but westerly moderate to strong winds prevailing, and backing by west to north and freshening. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, with increasing haze and cloudiness. The night will probably be very cold, with frosts inland. Barometer little movement, but falling after about twenty-four hours;
