TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows: — -Northerlios increased generally on Friday, "and gales were reported inparts of tho North Island to-day. There has been much fog and rain, and the disturbance now shows a cyclonic character to the northward of New Zealand. Present indications are for cloudy and foggy weather, with rain generally. The barometer has a falling tendency, but'is due to rise everywhere to-morrow. Strong northerly winds, changing by west to southerly northward of Cook Strait, and norther lies,, changing to east to t high south-easterlies elsewhere.
