NEGOTIATIONS WITH HIGH

COMMISSIONER

LONDON, June 4

The French Chamber of Commerce in London ha s opened negotiations with the Hon. T. Mackenzie, High Commissioner for New Zealand, with a view to extending New Zealand trade. The" Chamber has discussed with Mr Mackenzie the existing barriers, particularly the, tariff. Mr Mackenzie explained that New Zealand was desirous of extending her markets, and suggested the possibility of mutual concessions.
