LABOUR MOTION REJECTED
.Received This Morning, 12.30 o'clock. CAPETOWN, June 4. General Smuts, speaking in the Assembly, said he was not sanguine of anything being done in the immediate future in regard to naval contribution.
The Assembly, by aai overwhelming majority, rejected a Labour motion to limit underground hourtf in the mines
