NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. O. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, thig evening ,rired as follows: Fine weather has except in the southernmost district's, whei'd cloudy and misty weathel', with drizzling rain, has Wen reported. To-day variable winds have prevailed, with easterly breezes predominating in the north, and northerlies and westerlies in the south. Present indications are far fair to cloudy weather generally, but cooil and changeable conditions in the southern districts. The barometer has a falling tendency, especially -in the South. Moderate to strong%a£terly winds are' probable in the north, and westerly winds over the .Soruth Island.
