Bates, of tho Meteorological Office, this overr.ng issued the following:— The weather has continued fine, and very warm; misty and foggy in parts. The winds have been variable, but a northerly gale is reported this afternoon at Cape Gimp bell. The barometer continues high everywhere. Present .imlieations are •foil- warm and hazy weather, with much mist and fog in parts. Moderate to strong easterly winds are probable northward of F/ast Cape and Kawhia, and. increasing northerlies predominating elsewhere. The barometer is likely to fall everywhere shortly for a low pressure area due to pass in the south at the end of the week.
