NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (By Telegraph—Bret* Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, tins evening issued the following:— The barometer rose everywhere on Saturday with moderate to strong winds, but unsettled and squally woatlK>r was chiefly confined to the southern districts, and fair to cloudy weather prevailed generally. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds generally and squally at times in C'ook Strait, and especially about. Foveaux Strait, with fanto cloudy weather generally, hut rain is. probable on the west coast and southern districts. The barometric pressure i« de-creasing everywhere for a. low pressure are passing southward of the Dominion about Wednesday.
