The Lolaka states that the Powers are seeking to influence the Allies, particularly Bulgaria, in the direction of further negotiation*;. It is considered -ftiat the differences between the demandy of the Allies and the latest offer of Turkey, makes a further campaign not worth the while. ( A VIOLENT PROCLAMATION. URGING eONTIUNANCE OF WAR (Received Last.Night, 5.5 o'clock.) CONSTANTINOPLE, February 1. While the Government' has drafted the mildest answer to the Powers, the Committee of Public Safety is preparing a violent proclamation, urging the continuance of the war. It is reported that if Shevket Pasha surrenders Adrianoplo, he will meet the fate of Nazhn Pasha at the hands of the Committee. FURTHER NEGOTIATIONS. SHEVKET PASHA INTERVIEWED THE CONCESSIONS MADE. In aoi. interview with the eorresprndont of the Nieu Freie Profse, Shevket Pasha stated that Turkey wished! to keep nothing except the unennquered fortress, with its sac-red places. "We have," he aiid, "met the desire of the Powers for peace to the extent of 75 per cent, and have kept only 25 per cent ourselves. TYPHUS FEVER
AMONG TURKISH: PRISONERS.
(Received Last Nmht. 5.5 o'clock.) BELGRADE. February 1. An outbreak of typhus fever has occurred among the Turkish prisoners at Negotin. Of 340 cases reported, 140 haveprove:l; fatal in a few days. A doctor and eight nurses are infected.

(Received February 1, 8 a.m.) . PARIS. January 31. Tho,Matin's' correspondent at Sofia, states that a.n escapee from Adriancple says that the provisions are exhausted. The civilians and soldiers demanded the town's surrender. There was great excitement, and several officers were killed.
