DANGEROUS CROSSING

'An inquest hold this afternoon touching the death of John Young, who was killed on Now Year's Day, in a collision with a train "at a level crossing at Xormanby. The evidence, ■showed that the usual warning whittles wore sounded by the driver. Ft, was also stated that the crossing was a dangerous one, the public view being obstructed. The inquiry ivji,s adjourned for one week, to 'gob thio evidence, if possible, of Frederick ■Rufctorwort.il, the driver of the ciir. I who is in the hospital suffering from concussion of tho brain. His con'diition is still regarded as serious.
