Mr A. H. Vile, of Masterton, wrote the Prime Minister (Hon. W. F. Mas•sey) some days back, stating that it was proposed that a deputation should, wait upon liim in reference to the establiohmc.nt of an agricultural college in the Wairarapa. The Pr:me Minx'tter, in a letter written on July 18th, fiays:— "I note that you wish to introduce a Waiirarapa deputation to me, with regard to establishing an agricultural college in that distinct. I .should be glad if the dnjte cou'ld be ipcistpemd, as my time is so fully occupied j-u>Kt now with other urgent i rnattei y. I will, however, be plea.sed ■ to 'meet the deputation, a little later | on."
