Kalipha was imported from India, wlner© he won numerous races. He sired the well known Eony Bine Rajah, that won over 20 rst prizes in tihe Show Ring, and was only beaten onoe, and that itime ' the honours fell to Young Kalipha. Hindoo, another by Kalipha, was never beaten, as a weight carrier. He is also the sire of Shamrock, winner of three trots at Wellington. Topsy, the dam of Young Kalipha, was shown six times in harness, and gained first prize on each occasion, and was shown, three times as a brood mare, and gained two first prizes and a second. By the above it is easily seen that YOUNG KALIFHA'S oredentialc are second to none as a sire to get quality stock. He is of a dark bay, black points, standing 14 hands 1 inch.
