CLOUD BURST.
(Received Sept. 28, 9.55 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Sept. 28. A cloud iburst, accompanied by a fierce gale, did severe damage in Bendigo, though onfly a small area was affected. A number of buildings were wrecked, and people and debris were swept considerable distances. Jordan, a farmer, was seriously injured owing to his house collapsing.
