WELLiLNGTON, Last Night. Mr W. T. Young, Labour l candidate for Wellington Central, opened 1 his campaign to-nigihit. He said no more Crown lands should be sold. The Stfttf should retain a.nd operate sufficient land to meet all jthe demands in regard to the national food supply. The WelMngjton-Lyttel-ton ferry (Service should be nationalised. Old age pension® sihould be iwcreased to £1 a week, and ih® age reduced to 60 yearis. The Second OhamSber should be abolished, and borrowing sihould cease. The candidate received a. vote 1 of thanks and confidence.
