PERSONAL.
Mr 'Alf. Ibbetson, who has been in the Masterton Hospital for the past two or three weeks, where he underwent a successful operation for the removal of the 1 appendix, has returned home, well on towards perfect recovery. The many friends of Mrs William Adams, of Masterton, will regret to hear of the death in Wellington of her son, Mi- JRobert Allen Adams, at •SO.yoars of age. • The late,Mr Adams, -who '-was born, in .Masterton, and was •extremely popular and well respected, by' his friends,' went to the South" African. War, where he contracted ' fever, and. since when he has never been in the best of health. Deceased £ was married, but had; no children. He j was a brother of Mrs Shaw, wife of Mr William Shavf, of Masterton. The funeral will leave the Masterton railway station at 11.45 a.91. to-day for the Masterton cemetery.
