Cattle came forward nuaibers, but we only yarded one. pen of sheep, which we quitted at a satisfactory price. As several lines of our advertised list were sold privately before date of sale, we would ask vendors to kindly study buyers' interests, and their own, by bringing any stock they advertise forward for competition, and thu3 save a great deal of annoyance to the public, to say nothing of the auctioneers. We quote:—lß-months steers, £2 15s 6d to £3; Syr steers ordinary, to £4; cows and calves. £4; store caws, £3 3s: empty 2 and Syr heifers, to £2 19s.'
