ANCIENT BUDDHIST SCROLLS.
Received February 4, 9.15 a.m. PEKIN. 3rd February. A Japanese explorer in Chinese Turkestan has discovered thirty Buddhist scrolls belonging to the period between the second and seventh rpritiiries.
