The totalisator investments amounted to £14,785, an increase of £2,237, while the bookmakers' fees totalled £384 10s. All the jockeys wore crape as at mark of respect to the memory <riT W. O'Connell, who died this morning as a result of injuries receivedffrom a fall in the Kildare Hurdles yester-* day. Great Autumn Handicap, of 1,000 sovs; H mile—Boniform, 9.1, 1; Tikatere 7.0 (including 71b penalty), 2; Husbandman, 8.13, 3. Also started—Glenculloch Y. 9, AH Guna 7.5, Waitapu 7.4 (including 101b penalty), Field Gun 7.0, Osiris 6.1 J£ and Consolation 6.10. Husband nun was first into the straight, closely followed by Tikitere, Field GunJ, Consolation and Boniform. At the distance Tikitere had Husbandman beaten, but then Bonitorm put in his claim, and won by a length and a half, Husbandman a neck behind Tikitere, Field Gun was fourth. Time, 2min 35 3-ssec.
