WELLINGTON PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 13. Most of the events in the Wellington Provincial Tennis Championships were decided to-day. In the final for the men's singles, H. Rice, of New South Wales, easily defeated R. K. Swanston, 6—3, 6—l, In the men's double-), semi-final, Rice and Brown beat Fisher and Blair, 3—6, 6- 4, 6—l. The final is to be played on Saturday. , Ladies Singles.—Final: Miss Nunneley beat Miss Travers, 7—5, 6—2. Ladies' Doubles.—Final: Misses Travers and Gray beat Misses Simpson and Ledge, 6—2, 6 —2. Combined Doubles. —Semi final: A. Young and Miss Gray beat G. F. Smyth and Miss Simpson, 6—3, 9—7; Fisher and Miss Batbam beat Wilson and Miss Ward, 6-3, 7—5. The final is to be played by Friday.
