A MADMAN AT BAY.
Keceived April 12, 10.30 p.m. LONDON, April 12. A madman armed with a rifle barricaded himself in a cottage at St. Blazey in Cornwall. He wounded four besiegers, and kept the police at bay for almost a week until he was starved out and was thus compelled to surrender.
