SUICIDE.

By Telegraph —Press Association. NELSON, April 10. Arthur Acklam Daly, tailor, committed suicide this morning by shooting himself in a disused brewery in Halifax street. Deceased in January last escaped from a drowning fatality in the harbour, when George Gunderson lost his life. That preyed on Daly's mind, and during the last fortnight been very depressed. When he was missed about 6.30 this morning, search was made, and the body discovered in the brewery. He leaves a widow and five children. NELSON, April 11. At the inquest on A. A. Daly, who died yesterday from a gunshot wound, a verdict of suicide whilst temporarily insane was returned. The evidence showed that Daly had been greatly depressed since a boating accident some months ago in which hN companion lost his life.
