KOPUARANGA.
(From Our Own Correspondent). " March 15th. Sheen-dipping operations which have been delayed owing to a shortage of water are now well in hand The sheep taken all round are fairly clear. The school picnic was held on Friday last in unfavourable weather, the hall having to be made use of during the greater part of the day. Pear and appla traes are coming put in bloom again for the second time this season. It is curious to see the almost ripe fruit and blossom together on the trees. Mr Blade, who, has been dairy farming here for the past twenty years, has sold his cows. Hd bought a big line of sheep at Eketahuna a few days ago, and evidently intends going in for sheep farming.
