TRIAL OF DINIZULU.

MONETARY SACRIFICES O? MISS COLENSO. Received March 9, 8.20 a.m. LONDON. March 8. Subscription lists have been opened in London, the object of which is to compensate Miss Colenso for the monetary sacrifices she made in connection with Dinizulu's defence, besides her previous outlays on his behalf.

Dinizulu, the paramount chief of Zululand, was recently sentenced to four years' imprisonment for sheltering rebels, and fined £IOO. The sentence dates from the time of his arrest in December, 1907.
