RAID ON MINISTERIAL PREMISES. TWENTY-FOUR ARRESTS MADE. Received February 19, 9 a.m. LONDON, February 18. Twenty-four suffragists, mostly from the provinces, were arrested for raiding the Ministerial premises in Downing Street.

ATTEMPTED RAID ON THE HOUSE OF COMMONS. EIGHT ARRESTS MADE. Received February 19, 9.55 p.m. LONDON, February 19. While the debate on Mr A. Chamberlain's amendment to the Addrass-in-Reply was proceeding in the House of Commons thirty members of ths Women's Freedom League following on the raid in Downing street marched to the House of Commons. The police prevented them from entering the House. Mrs Despard and seven of her supporters were arrested.
