WOODVILLE RACES. By Telegraph —Press Association.

WOODVILLE, February 18. Delightful weather was experienced for the concluding day of the Woodville Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting. The attendance was very satisfactory, but not quite so large as on the previous day. The sum of £6,280 passed through the totalisator, which made £13,710 for the meeting. The amount named is £3,351 less than for the corresponding meeting last year. Six bookmakers did business to-day. The fees for the two days amounted to £3OO. The racing was again very interesting, and exciting. There were large fields in all the events except the Hurdles, for which only three horses started. Several of the finishes were close. Results:— Settlers' Hack, of 75 sovs, 6 furlongs.—Kelso 1, Miss Vera 2, Avvha 3. Won from the start to finish by a length. Time, Imin 15 4-ssec. Scratched—Genuine/laumano and Kimmerian.

Second Hack Hurdles, of 80 sovs, 11 miles. —Whatakura 1, Ruemac 2, Rosegrove 3. Only starters. Whatakura led all the way and won in the easiest manner by six engths. Time, 2min 55sec.

Ball nice Hack Welter, of 75 sovs, 7 furlongs. —Aberbrotbock 3, Mildura 2, Notorious 3. Scratched —Xavier, and Liquid Air. Aberbrothor.k took charge after the start and led all the way and won easily by two lengths. Time, lmin 30sec. Autumn Handicaap, of 150 sovs, 1 aiile and a distance—Sandstream 1, Meirie Rose 2, Moloch 3. Also started—Vasa, Waitapu, Seaton Dale, Loiret, Beringaria, Castiglione, Castiglione led for most of the distance. Before reaching the straight Sandstream drew away from the field and was not altsrwards headed, winning easily by three lengths. Time, lmin 55 3-ssec. Kumera Hack Handicap, of 75 sovs, 5 furlongs.— Genuine 1, Swallow 2, Hydraulic 3. Scratched Waioriki, Lucretius and Contour. This race was a bit of a surprise. Genuine won by a short head. Time, lmin 2 l-ssec.

Shorts Handicap, of 100 sovs, 5 furlongs.—Vi 1, Kareroa 2, Lochiela 3. Also started —Tua Tuhi, Golden Gate, Lothair. Vi won the race by half a length in the excellent time of lmin lsec.

Hack Scurry, of 65 sovs.—Waimaremare 1, Kimmerian 2, Valentine 3. Beloma, Happy New Year and Leolanter were scratched. A very exciting race. Won by a neck. Time, lmin 2 2-ssec. Maharahara Handicap. Silken Rein 1, Merrie Zealand 2, Rangihaeta 3. Won comfortably by a length. Time, lmin 44 1 ssec.
