BREACHES OF THE BANKRUPTCY ACT.

By Telegraph —Press Association. PALMERSTON N., February 18. Albert Robert Musgrove and Albert Thompson, stock dealers, of Feiiding, were tried at the Supreme Court to-day for breaches of the Bankruptcy Act, the most .serious of which was obtaining credit by a false balance sheet.

Musgrove was found guilty of not keeping proper books, incurring debts without reasonable grounds of expectation of being able to pay the same, and rash speculation. Thompson was found guilty of failing to keep proper books. Both were acquitted on the more serious charges. They will be sentenced to-morrow.
