BROKEN HILL STRIKE
A BOMB EXPLOSION. \ "NO DAMAGE DONE. APPEAL FOR FUNDS. 'Received January 12, 9.10 p.m. SYDNEY, January 12. A bomb exploded at Block Ten 'Mine Reserve, but no damage was -done. Failing a settlement of the trouble before Tnursday next, Block 'Ten Mine will close, thus rendering an additional 030 men idle. Torn- Mann and other released leaders headed a picket procession to-day. but there wps no disturbance. The com Dined Unions have cabled •to England and the Continent asking for immediate financial assistance.
