Miss Ada Crossley, the wpll-known contralto singer, is a passenger for Wellington by the Warrimoo, which left Sydney at midnight on Friday. Mr J. Milne, of Masterton, has succeeded in passing the final examination for the New Zealand Accountants' and Auditors Association. Mr Milne is to be congratulated on the result achieved.

Ivan Pierce, sixteen years o* age, a son of Mr G. N. Pierce, manager of the New Zealand Insurance Company at Auckland, was injured when diving from the Waiwsra Wharf on Boxing Day. He wa3 carried ashore by other bathers, but died before_ a doctor arrived from town by special steamer.
