WEDDING.

LINDSAY—LE GROVE. Miss Eva Le Grove, daughter of Mrs Le Grove, who has resided in the Pahiatua district for seventeen years, was married at the residence of Mr Sid. E. Blustt, Scarborough, yesterday atternoon, to Mr Henry Lindsay, writes our Pahiatua correspondent. Miss Myrtle Hall and Miss Lily Brew were bridesmaids, Mr J. Le Grove was besfct man,, while the bride was given away by Mr P. Brew.

The bride looked charming dressed in a cream silk voile, and wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms. She carried a picturesque bouquet. After the ceremony the guests sat down to a sumptuous wedding breakfast provided by the mother and brother of the bride. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a handsome greenstone brooch, and Mr and Mrs Lindsay received many handsome and useful presents. Mr and Mrs Lindsay left for Wellington yesterday afternoon, where the honeymoon is to be spent. Their future home will be in HuKanui. The bride's travelling dress was of navy blue taffeta, with hat to match. SIMPSON—CHAPMAN. At the residence of Mr A. Simpson, Cambridge street, Pahiatua, yesterday nrjrning, writes our Pahiatua correspondent, Mr Ahdifw G. Simpson, eldest son of Mr. Simpson, was married to Miss Neta Chapman, seccnj daughter of Mrs C. Chapman, of Palmerston North. Chalmers Mill j conducted the marriage A wedding of interest to residents of Ecp'ua'ranga took place at the Kopuaranga fehurch on Tuesday last, when Mr Frederick Johnston, late of Kopuaranga, and now of Wellington, <vaa married to Miss Annie Jean Stewart, eldest daughter of the late Mr Alex. Stewart, of "Aird," Kopuaranga. The Rev. A. T. Thompson, of Masterton, conducted the marriage ceremony. The Church had been prettily decorated for the occasion by members of the choir. The bride wore a handsome dress of white, and the orthodox veil, ana carried a beautiful bouquet of roses. Miss Isla Stewart, sister of the bride, was chief bridesmaid, and was dressed in a pretty dress of pale pink voile, and carried a bouquet. Little Miss Alexa Stewart and Miss Muriel Duncan, niece of the bridegroom, were the other bridesmaids. Each carried a basket of flowers. Mr H. E. Townsend, nephew of the bridegroom, was best man. The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a handsome gold bracelet, set with diamonds and rubies. The bridesmaids each received a gold neck chain with pendant, and gold brooches. The guests were entertained in the afternoon at the residence of the bride's mother, where an enjoyable time was spent. Mr and Mrs Johnston, who left for the South in the evening, were the recipients of many valuable presents.
