LAWN TENNIS.
MASTERTON CLUB. The following players have been selected to represent the Masterton Club in the match against the Pahiatua Lawn Tennis Club, to be played" at Pahiatua on Saturday next:— Messrs S. R. Gawitb, A. R. Sclanders,* N. D. Bunting, J. B. Moodie, F. .H. Elcoate, J. G. Bee, N. H. James, E. J. Mirams; emergency, Mr H. H. Pavitt. Any player who is unable to go is requested to advise the Hon. Secretary promptly. The following are the handicaps and drawings for the Men's Handicap Singles, second grade, 60 points up advintage:—Francis 20, Sellar 15, Rothenberg 25, Pavitt scr, Langdon 30, all byes in first round; Arlidge 25 plays Bcddington 15, Noble-Camp-bell 20 plavs Low 20, Paul 18 plays H. M. Gordon 30, Waddirgton 10 play 3 Major 25, Bewley scr plays Sutton 30, Gray 15 plays H. H. Donald 10, Logan 15, P. Gordon 18, Hand-Newton 30, Foss 18, and J. V. Gordon 20, all byes in first round. Competitiors r.re requested to play off as many matches as possible before Christmas.
