DUNEDIN SHOOTING AFFRAY.

VICTIM MAKING SATISFACTORY . PROGRESS. By Telegraph—Press DUNEDIN, December 15. Daniel M'Curdy, the victim of the,, shooting affray in' North Dunedia last, night, is making satisfactory progress. The bullet was extracted from M'Curdy's leg to-day. It appears that -M'Curdy did not throw a knife at Tomey, but that as a result of a dispute over a seat at a table Tomey threatened M'Curdy with a knife, the latter picking up a chair in self defence. Tomey then went outside and got a rifle and fired'through the window wounding M'Curdy in the thigh.
