IMPRISONMENT ASKED FOR

Ten thousand women have been summoned for publication of a petition, at Bilbao, on behalf of a milliner, who was sentenced to eight years' imprisonment, for killing her betrothed, who proved faithless. The Public Prosecutor asks for a day's imprisonment for each of the women summoned, and four months for the writer of the petition.
