SENSATION AT CALCUTTA.
PROMINENT INDIANS ARRESTED.
SEVEN YEARS FOR SEDITION. Received Decebmer 14, 9.53 p.m. CALCUTTA, December 14. Excitement has been caused in Calcutta owing to tie arrest of Mitra, editor of the native news paper "Sanjibani," on a charge connected with students at Dacoities. Dutt, a prominent Eastern Bengal seditious leader, has been arrested at Barisan. Baburan,' editor of the native newspaper "Swarajya," has been sentenced to seven years' imprisonment on a charge of sedition.
