RAIN, SNOW AND EARTHQUAKE. By Telegraph—Press Association. TIMARU, December 8. Useful rain—about halt an inch fell last night and to-day. It was much needed .in the country. Snow fell'on even low hills. A faint shock of earthquake was felt here at 11.55 this morning.
