RE-ARRANGEMENT OP FIXTURES. Greytown having forfeited twice already is now disqualified from further participation in the championship fixtures. In a few days a meeting of the Cricket Association will be held in order to re-draw fixtures to follow on the playing out of the present matches. r ; . jH The usual matches between local and Watirarapa teams and various other district clubs has been engaging the attention of local secretaries. In reply to -&-• communication from the local Association the Wellington Cricket Association stated that they would like the annual fixture to be played at Wellington on Christmas and Boxing Days. The matter has been gone into by the loci Executive, however, and they find that it will be very difficult to get a good representative team together for those dates. The match will therefore have to until a later date. The Manawatu Association has also replied to a letter from the local Association, stating that they would like to have dates arranged fox their match some time after the Christmas holidays.
