PRESENTATION TO HON. W. HALL-JONES.

By Telegraph —.Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 23. About twenty members of the Wellington Provincial Industrial Association waited on the Hon. W. Hall-Jones to-day, and presented him with a gold model of a locomotive in recognition of Mr Hall-Jones' services r .o the Dominion as Minister of Railways, particularly in connection with the completion of the North Island Main Trunk line.

Members of the deputation noted with pleasure that in the applications for tendres for Government contracts, New Zealand manufactures were specified as far as possible.
