A LENGTHY INTERVIEW. INTENSE FEELING IN GERMANY. Received November 18, 9.7 a.m. BERLIN, November 17. The Kaiser to-day gave an audience to Prince von Bulow, Imperial Chancellor. The audience lasted for one and three-quarter hours. There is keen anxiety lest the Kaiser's possible refusal to yield to the Reichstag's views may drive Prince Bulow into retirement and precipitate a crisis. There is intense feeling in all parts of the Empire. Received November 18, 9 p.m. BERLIN, November 18. Count Hohenthal, speaking in the Saxon Chamber, expressed the earnest hope that the events which had recently evoked the indignation of the people would not recur, and that the dark shadow which had fallen between the Emperor and the nation would auon pass away.

AN OFFICIAL INTIMATION

Received November 18, 9.55 p.m. BERLIN, November 18. The newspaper "Deutscher Reichzanzeiger" officially intimates that the interview between the Kaiser and Prince von Bulow lasted for several hours. Prince Bulow described the feeling manifested by German people owing to the publication of the "Telegraph" interview and the causes of this feeling. He explained his attitude in the Reichstag. The Kaiser received the explanation with great seriousness, and announced his will in the following terms:--He would not be swayed by the exaggerations of public criticism, which he feels to be unjust, as his foremost Imperial duty is to secure the consistency of the Empire's policy, while safeguarding constitutional responsibilites. Accordingly, the Kaiser approved of Prince Bulow's declarations in the Reichstag, and assured him of his continued confidence.. RESULT OF XHE INTERVIEW. EARLY PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT PROBABLE. Recieved November 18, 10.30 p.m. BERLIN, November 18. t Prince Bulow has informed the Prussian Council and the Ministers'of the Federal Council and President of the Reichstag, of the result of his interview with the Kaiser. The Prince will probably make an eaily public announcement.
