VICTORIA'S EXCELLENT DISPLAY. Received September 20, 4.30 p.m. LONDON, September 19. The newspapers commend Victoria's excellent display at the Grocers' Exhibition at Islington. The Hon. J. W. Taverner, Victorian Agent-General in London, presiding at the inaugural dinner, urged, the establishment of an Imperial Council, which was , indispensable in connection with the adoption of an Imperial policy. If the King visited Auscraliahe would be received with never-to-be forgotten enthusiasm.
