ANNiI.iL MEETING OP MEMBERS. The Wairarapa Amateur Swimming Club held its annual meeting in the Drill Hull, on Monday evening. Ulr JL. K. Daniel (captain) presided over an attendance of about forty. The rules, as amended by the Revision Committee, were adople 1, with the exception of that portion refrrJng to ladies being eligible for membership of the Club. Ihis provision was rejected by twelve votes to nine. The election of officers resulted as 'follows:-Patron, Mr D. CaselDerg; President, Dr W. H. Hosking; VicePresidents, Messrs J. B. Moodi', a. k. Bunny, and A. C. Major; Captain, Dr R. V. Hosking; Vice-Cap-tain. Mr W. Uren; Hon. Treasurer, Mr J. A. McEwen; Handicapperr, i aptuin, Vice-Captain and Mr M. Olds; Timekeepeia, Messrs J. Scot!, F. Dunre and A. Her.derson; Financo Committee, Captain, Secretary and Treasurer, Hon. Su'geons, Drs A. Hosking, Cook, Cowie and Ross; General Committee, Captain, ViceCaptain, Secretary and Treasurer, anu Messrs Cullen, Darvill, Daniel and Rosson; Auditor, Mr W. S J ago; secretary, held over. The Management Comm ttae were authorised to procure a set of water ' polo should sufficient inducement offer; also to attend, to the grading of swimmers in such classes as they think fit. , It was resolved to make application to the Trust Lands Trust for a grant of £5. Mr Noble-Campbell intimated that he would donate a Challenge Cup, to be*ivon twice in succession or three times at intervals,, other details to be arranged by the Committee, Mr E. Richards also promised a trophy. The donors were accoided a hearty vote of thanks. The date ior the opening of the season was left to the discretion of the Committee.
