ENTERTAINMENTS.
THE MALLINSONS. The Mallinson song recital, which will be given in the Town Hall on Friday, August 28th, will provide music-lovers with a programme <ft f charming song compositions from the pen of Mr Albert Mallinson, perhaps the most famous of all modern English song writers. Mrs Mallinson's co-operacion ia naturally completely sympathetic. It is said that her earnest'-and heartfelt singing, enhanced and supplemented by her husband's exquisite acco-npanimente, have an effect of spontaniety es though improvised, and , the result is in every way a genuine musical de- | light. The artists will be assisted by Miss Rebe Kussman, a voiirg Russian violiniste, arid Mr William Robyns, the Australian basso.
