THE PALMERSTON NORTH SEAT.

By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERSTON N., August 10. A meeting of Opposition supporters was held to-night, Mr A. E. Bennett presiding. Mr Martin (Opposition organiser) delivered an address, and Mr D. Buick was afterwards elected as candidate to represent the Opposition interests at the forthcoming election. There were about forty persons present at the meeting.
