Messrs Abraham and Williams, JLti., report on their Eicetahuna sale, ..held yesterday as follows:—Notwithstanding the the wretched weather tstock came forward well up'to adverted numbers, a full yarding being stnmiEled. THe attendance was satisfactory, buyers from a distance sbiing prominent. Although the sale was mainly conducted in a snowstorm bidding at auction was animated., and we cleared every lot mainly at auction ; in fact, we have to report the Ue3t sale held for some considerable time past. Messrs Nillson Bros.' «ewe 3 made 14s Id after keen competition, and were purchased by a Wairarapa buyer. Breeding ewtis were in good demand, and sold raaiily at advanced prices, lioggets also sold well. Quotations:— Good breeding ewes lis 3d to 14s Id, others 8s 6d to 9s 6d, culls 5s 3d, empty ewe 3 7s *7d, forward wethers 12s to 12s 9d, ►others lis, woolly lambs 8s Gd, ..shorn lambs 7s 7d to Bs, aged rim* .10s 6d, cows in calf £3 10s.
