A Hunter is a horse whose owner can produce at scales a certificate from the Master of .any Hunt that the horse lias boon ridden to hounds during the past season to the satisfaction of the Master, and has neither won nor is nominated at the date of entry for a race of J240 and Hunter races excepted.
