RESOLUTIONS OF WELLINGTON EMPLOYERS. BY TEIiMRAI'H —I'i!,ESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, July 7. At a largely attended meeting of Wellington employers, this evening, the following resolutions were passed:—That in view of the disloyalty of some sections of workers to the Arbitration Act, and of their deliberate breaking of awards of the Arbitration Court, this meeting urges the Government to" provide legislation that will make the Act eft'ectve and binding upon workers aa well as employers, or repeal the Act and cancel all existing awards of the Arbitration Court; that this meeting deplorjs the action of the members of the Operative Bakers' Union in striking after electing to take advantage of the provision of the Arbitration Act, and in direct defiance of a recent award of the Arbitration Court; this meeting further exDresses it 3 sympathy with the master bakers of Wellington, and its approval of the attitude adopted by them, and urges them to maintain, in the interests of the employers of thu Dominion and of the community, the firm stand taken by them; that the ' attention of the Minister of Labour and the Minister of Justice be dr.iwn to t'no alleged actiun of a member or tne Conciliation Board and a Justics of the Psaca in coKtiection with the Wellington bakers' strike.
